Hi...to be honest...I'm not really sure what to say here. I'm a single mom of a 9 yr old boy who really keeps me on the run. (smile) I have a wide variety of interests. Being a single mom, and having to make all the decisions all the time gets very tiring, that's why I try not to make the decisions if someone else will. LOL Is that selfish? I guess I just feel like I need someone else to take over sometimes and give me a little break from the day to day stress of life. I was not raised here in GA (but I have been living here for a good many years), and I don't really have many friends. So, even if we don't hit it off in an intimate way, I'm still looking forward to making new friends just the same. I am very open minded about trying new things, as long it is with the right person. I must feel attracted to, comfortable with, and in some way, bonded to this person. (and that takes time, so we're talking steady relationship, not casual or occasional, and least of all...one night stands). Which means this person would need to be very open and honest with me as I will be with them. I'm very affectionate, the touchy/feely (physical) kind of person. You know, holding hands, hugging, lots and lots of hugging, my hand on your thigh, touching your arm while I'm talking, and don't mind kissing in public. And a hopeless romantic. But, there seems to be a side of me that is curious and would like to explore...but only with the right person. And this will be something to consider and discuss [U][B]after[/B][/U] a length of time spent together to make sure we are right for each other. Please pay attention to what I just said, because if you think I am just going to jump at someone who says they can help me fulfill my deepest darkest desires, then you are sadly mistaken. Personality, intellect, honesty, humor, compassion and passion....these are the things that attract me first. And please, if you are going to be crude, take it somewhere else, because that does not interest me in the least. Keeping in mind that I have a young , any plans for a meeting may require some advance notice. [B]UPDATE:[/B] I had back surgery on September 24th, and I am recuperating nicely. And I have just moved [I]again[/I], to Atlanta this time.

My Ideal Person I would like to meet someone who is honest and open about their thoughts and feelings, and can take someone who is very open and honest their self. I would prefer to meet someone who is close to my own age. Of course, this is not written in stone. I am not interested in one night stands. I would really like to meet someone who is open to the possibility of a long term relationship. I really don't enjoy playing the field as they say. Yes, I have "baggage"...who doesn't? (And I do not consider my son baggage.) Sometimes it comes out...sometimes it doesn't. Can you be non-judgmental about someone's past experiences? The past is the past....people grow...people change....and hopefully we keep learning from our experiences. But, the past is also what makes us who we are today.
Intelligence is a major plus, so don't be afraid to write a lengthy email. I love those the best.
