Tell me how men kiss you.

Tell me how men kiss you.
Tell me how men kiss you
And when they do
Do they taste sweet honey fresh
Do corners of your lips rise up
A private smile for you alone
As you share a breathless kiss
And if there be a need to atone
For every sin or moment missed
For every time your mind wandered
To another or you forgot
Whom you said you always loved
To whom your kisses were best presented
Tell me how men kiss you
On those full lips or down along succulent throat
Along your arm to ticklish sensual wrist
Along your jaw and up to hanging ear lobe of delight
Do they kiss you strong and kiss you light
Kiss from evening to dawning light
Tell me how men kiss you
Do they drink from your kiss
As if had crossed a desert waterless
Do they kiss and as ancient sailors did
When Sirens sang upon the dangerous rocks
Do they forget all what was before
When they kiss into you do they fall

And when I say tell me how men kiss you
You know I mean show me how
Offer me your lips and let me taste
The honey rich and sweet hid deep within
And the taste I suspect will be
Of burnt cork and wine and exotic spices
Of things we reach for and cannot describe
The hunger deep, deep down inside
You know I mean show me how
With that truthful mouth of yours
Bring your kisses of delight
Make me wiser in darkness of this night
Let me taste the cynicism
Which inside myself does burn
Let me learn how you kiss
As if you were a mirror of my own desire
A passion and need I could not resist
You know I mean show me how
The warm soft lips of quivering fire
The stoking of my ardent desire
Tip of tongue a darting lure
A kiss so pure for those impure
As marked by Time and Time has learnt us
The only cure we always seek
Blind in passion, lost in lust
A kiss to show me how

When I have learnt how you kiss
And yes your heart I will break
We are two the same on the make
I will shatter your heart into a hundred pieces
And carry off a single piece as my reward
A piece of heart which burns ruby bright
A piece of heart glowing in the night
When I have learnt how you kiss
Experienced an epiphany of physical bliss
Been shaken to my very core
Demanded much and wanted more
On the barbed hooks of desire hung
A slaughtered beast tasting your tongue
How shall I then continue on
Knowing how you kiss
And what was lost was once won
When I have learnt how you kiss
I shall break and go amiss
My own lips lost in touch of yours
My body held in Love’s cruel claws
A Cynic always and Cynic true
An oil slick floating black above
The deep still waters of tempestuous love
This is the reward from your kiss
A body shaken a certainty torn apart
Finding in your kissing you possess the art
So I would lose all I am or ever was
From your kiss forward a different cause
Shattered broken or born anew
Who knows which after kissing you
And Fool and Cynic and Romantic all
I come to your side and in your ear whisper my call
Tell me how men kiss you.

So i was reading Polar Star
by Martin Cruz Smith
A sequel to Gorky Park
and within the story there was
a scrap of poetry used
and from there the Muse
the result above infused.
