Seems like a lot of “encounters” but as I conversed with a friend the other night we realized it just happens. It has nothing to do with counting notches on a bed post, or proclamation of sluttiness. It's just that if you’re not in monogamous relationships and are friendly and like to meet new people, the numbers add up. If at a minimum you met two or even one man (or woman) a month…that’s maybe 24 a year. And if you’re into the lifestyle – clubs and parties, there can be 3…4 a night. Of course, it doesn’t happen every month, every year, but a few go by, and then a few more…. and there you go.....

No wonder it’s hard to remember them all.

 It seems you are stuck on love when it is new and unknown. You can't or don't want to deal with the long haul commitment of monagamy, nothing wrong with that. After all you have nothing to lose and everthing to gain, you have the perfect life, right?

Wouldn't mind someone for long term....though can't say I'd want it to be monogamous. But then again, there is always the possibility (though a slim one) that I'd find someone I'd like enough that I don't want to be with anyone else.

I am not someone who has never know commitment. I was married for 27 years and always faithful...and didn't even look elsewhere, or consider an affair.
